At VIDA, we are focused on the safety, stability, and recovery of immigrant survivors of violence. To do this, everyone on the VIDA team – from volunteers and contractors, to employees and board members – is knowledgeable about the needs of survivors of violence, and is respectful of the diversity present in our many communities. Many of our staff have several decades of training and experience in both their fields of expertise and in specialized services for survivors of violence, and we continue to learn from the people we serve.
